What is earned wage access | ImmediatePay

As a high school student, I never thought that I would be able to help Americans across the country gain financial freedom. Before my time at Immediate, I had never heard of Earned Wage Access, or Immediate. However, I was aware of the large percentage of Americans that live paycheck to paycheck. I found out about the company from a neighbor who knew that I was looking for an internship that would provide me with real world experience and job skills.

I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to intern at Immediate in August 2022. Only being 17 years old at the time, I was eager to see if I would be able to actually benefit Immediate in any way.

Immediate welcomed me with open arms. I was introduced to the best team that I could ask for. Every employee at Immediate is just as passionate about their job as the next. We all share the same core values. We all want to help Americans build financial wellness. Since August, I have realized how important a motivated and results-driven team is to success.

Since I began my internship in August, I have learned how to problem solve, research, prospect, how to sell a product, and countless other work-related skills. I have been able to work alongside the partnerships team, sales team, and marketing team since I started. Learning about each individual team and how they work with other teams has been really cool.  Being able to read about client experiences really highlights the benefit of Immediate. Knowing that Immediate is benefiting more employees every single day motivates me to work as hard as I can. I could not be more thankful for what everyone at Immediate has taught me at a young age. Immediate is not just a company, it is a family.
